If you use the LED's while they're still in the remote, it may work as a sensor bar. However the LED's in the remote should flash in a pattern which matches the communication code that the remote sends to the TV\Dish network box.
That means that the remote will flash and provide you with an unstable, flashing "sensor bar" which will make for a nasty pointing experience.
That is, unless you remove the LEDS and put them on your own circuit which doesn't flash. |

depending on the model of your remotes you should be able to solder some wires to feed energy directly to the the leds
an even ghetto-ier sensor bar would be having a big cardboard panel with two holes in it, glue some white printer paper over the holes and put an incandescent light bulb behind, if it all goes well the two holes would be individually identified by the wiimote as individuals IR spots _________________ please put the scripts on the wiki so they dont get lost as new stuff is posted!
