0.3.50 worked great (and still does) but i cant get this enw version to work.
When i start wmgui, File->Connect->OK It gives me:
Unknown command
Segmentation fault
when i try to start wminput i get
Put Wiimote in discoverable mode now (press 1+2)...
Unknown command
unable to switch to IR reporting
error initializing tracking algorithm
and with acc.so:
loaded acc tracker plugin
Put Wiimote in discoverable mode now (press 1+2)...
Unknown command
unable to switch to ACC reporting
error initializing tracking algorithm |

Have you installed the package, or are you running from the CWiid directory?
Edit: I installed 0.3.51 and ran the executables for 0.4.00 without installing, and got exactly the errors you did, so I'll assume the answer to the above question is yes. If so, the problem is that you're still loading the old version of libwiimote, which is incompatible. I'll manage the lib versions better in the future so you'll at least get an error that makes sense (a dynamic link error) rather than a bunch of random run-time errors. _________________ "I seldom let practicality get in the way of my fascination with shiny things and blinky lights."

| On the general topic of 4.0, I am not seeing the displays on the status bar for battery and nunchuck. Obviously, I am pointing out that this is at odds with what is shown in the current screenshot present on the wiki page. |

Yup, that's a bug caused by a last minute addition that got by my QA people. Basically, the initial status message comes in before wmgui registers to receive them. Inserting or removing an extension after connection will trigger another status message, updating the GUI. The fix will be in the next version. _________________ "I seldom let practicality get in the way of my fascination with shiny things and blinky lights."

| Sorry, I wasn't referring to the quality of CWiid. It's good IMHO, and proceeding quickly enough. I was just referring to the assumed lone-man hobbyist development going on. It's nice to see you have a good sense of humor though. |
